Audience Head Surgery 'Big Accident'...Will NC Dinos be able to play SSG in early April → Even concerns over disruptions in the KBO League

An absurd accident occurred at a state-of-the-art baseball stadium that benchmarked Major League Baseball. The stadium structure fell and hit people, causing injuries.안전놀이터

It ended in a quiet atmosphere with the game stopped cheering on the day of the accident, but the game was canceled the next day.

The problem is that it is unclear whether the stadium will host a home game next week. It has become a serious accident that could disrupt the KBO League.

Three people were injured when a stadium structure crashed during a professional baseball KBO League game.

"The structure in NC Park fell at 5:20 p.m. and we are currently investigating the reason," said an official from the NC Dinos based in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province. "There were three victims, two of them moved by ambulance, and one of them moved to the hospital separately in surprise. The club will do everything it can to recover."

"We are looking into the details of the accident and the conditions of the victims," he said. "We are controlling the area where the accident occurred."

Later, it was heard that one of the injured suffered a head injury and went into surgery. The other, who was hospitalized in an ambulance, reportedly injured his collarbone.

It was a shocking accident that did not fit the era of 10 million spectators in the KBO League. Since then, the two teams have refrained from cheering matches and continued their enthusiasm only by fostering spectators.

LG won 14-4 on the day and won seven consecutive games from the opening game.

Immediately after the game, the final game of the weekend series between the two teams, which was scheduled to be held on the 30th, was canceled.

NC said, "The game on the 30th was canceled to inspect the stadium's facilities," adding, "The timing of the resumption of home games will be determined according to the duration of the facility safety inspection."

The NC Dinosaurs said Wednesday that they will inspect facilities not only at NC Park but also at Masan Baseball Stadium, their former home stadium located right next to the park. The Masan Baseball Stadium is currently being used as the home ground for NC's second division. "The Futures League will be played without spectators. We will announce the availability of spectators at a later date depending on the time required for safety inspection of facilities," the NC Dinosaurs said in a statement.

Since the accident is serious, it is right to cancel the game on the 30th and conduct a comprehensive inspection of the safety of stadium facilities.

In addition, it opened up the possibility that the home game against SSG Landers scheduled for April 1 to 3 will be postponed.

Baseball games are often canceled due to weather such as rain, fine dust, cold waves, and heavy snow, but the fact that KBO League games have been postponed indefinitely due to club safety concerns is a serious incident that cracks the reputation of the nation's most popular sports.

In particular, NC Park was completed in 2019, and it is also the latest stadium in Gaza except for Daejeon Hanwha Life Ball Park, which opened this year. Through major league benchmarking, something that could not happen at NC Park, which was called an example of the KBO League baseball stadium, made it impossible to know when KBO League games would resume.
